Mad March!

Three days in a row - three amazing films, all showing at The Elgiva in Chesham:

Monday 11th - the stunning docu-drama Touching The Void. Followed on Tuesday 12th by the award-winning Stan & Ollie. (There are discounts for CFS Members for these two films - contact the Elgiva box office for details.)

Then the amazing Frantz on Wednesday 13th - the 11th film in our Season. This is a French/German romance, with a mysterious twist: as a WW1 German widow grieves by the grave of her fiancé, who is the handsome French man also paying his respects?

We end the month with movie number 12, on Wednesday 27th, with another cracking film: Western. A group of German construction workers start a tough job at a remote site in Bulgaria - a tense drama, which, perhaps, mirrors everyone’s relationship with Europe.

Finally, a quick heads-up for our first film in April… On Wednesday 3rd, it’s the Members’ Choice: Shoplifters.

Then, shockingly, we’ll only have two more films before our 50th Season comes to a close… Afterwards, the committee will meet and the whole process begins again! If there’s a film you think we should consider, tell us and it’ll be put on the list.
